Miracle Foundation Ambassador in the Newspaper

Miracle Foundation Ambassador Deep Nasta recently submitted a short article in the Austin American-Statesman on his experience in India with The Miracle Foundation.

It’s really cool traveling with such a big group of Austinites. There are 60 people on this trip, more than ever before. We take a quick flight from Delhi to Ranchi and then jump on a bus from Ranchi to an orphanage in Rourkela. The bus ride is supposed to be four hours, but in India that means eight hours on a bouncy, barely paved road. We finally arrive at the orphanage around 10 p.m. and the kids are still up waiting for us. They do a cute dance to welcome us, we spend a little time playing with them and get back on the bus to go to the hotel for a few hours of sleep.
